A Snapshot of Your Day

You will be part of the team steering the successful execution of the financial targets of Switchgear Factory in Queretaro, Mexico. In a growing business and highly dynamic environment, you will actively handle financial planning, controlling, closing, and forecasting. In addition, you will own and drive the product cost and price calculation process. This role involves cross collaboration with multiple areas and locations, as well as strong analytical and communication skills.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

• You are Manager of the Manufacturing Finance Team and Commercial Project Managers.
• You lead the end-to-end product cost and price calculation process. Review product and component expenditures, compare to budget, interpret metrics, communicate impact clearly, and offer practical suggestions.
• You are experienced with the entire accounting and controlling processes and requirements associated with product costing and inventory in line with IFRS and HGB.
• Perform financial closing, reporting, controlling reviews, analyze trends, collaborate with partners, and adjust forecasts accurately ensuring the accuracy of financial books & records and compliance with external audit requirements.
• Be responsible for the monthly closing, forecasting, and annual budgeting processes for the factory’s P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and other financial critical metrics.
• As a finance business partner, you work in close collaboration with other areas and will be the link between our production, purchasing, logistics, IT and other operations departments in a very dynamic environment to enhance financial performance.

What You Bring

• Successfully completed studies in business administration, finance, or economics.
• At least 5 years of experience with manufacturing finance (i.e. can act independently and provide guidance to other team members).
• Solid SAP knowledge. Experience with S4Hana is a major plus.
• Command of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• You are a team player and highly committed to team success.
• Excellent communication skills in English
