Your profile

  • AAS or Machine Tool Technology certificate and/or High School Diploma or GED with Equivalent Machining Experience
  • Completion of machining apprenticeship preferred
  • Proficient in reading blueprints.
  • Proficient in shop mathematics
  • Proven experience operating horizontal and vertical milling machines, CNC machines and speed mills
  • This position requires employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless they are granted a medical or religious accommodation.

Your responsibilities

  • Set up and operate advanced machines including horizontal and vertical milling machines, CNC machines and speed mills according to the instructions or work packages.
  • Check machined dimensions using various precision measurement tools to verify tolerances, dimensions and to perform first article inspections on parts.
  • Set up and program parts utilizing “G” Code to write machining programs for a specific part.
  • Requires the use of judgment to plan, perform, and make decisions as to the sequence of setups, operations, and processes within the limitations of recognized or standard methods and procedures.
