A Snapshot of Your Day
A complete order oversight in cooperation with various back-office organizations to achieve customer satisfaction and ensure parts arrive on site on time for scheduled and forced outages.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Independently perform advanced areas of work to assist External Customers and Siemens Energy regional entities with inquires and purchase orders (internal & external), management of Customer Parts Orders collaborating with back-office functions including, but not limited to supply management, materials management, engineering, marketing, Parts configuration management, FAST logistics center, external service providers (FF) and customers.
- Support the Parsons Product Line in the planning, execution, coordination, and control of contractual requirements for economical delivery of parts, by developing the process for these tasks and attending weekly meetings with the project team and executive stakeholders.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales support and coordinating activities related to quotations, ordering, logistics, production/manufacturing related to products/Spare Parts, repair services, and solutions processed via SAP PD2.
- Provide internal and external customers globally with outage planning, quotations, order management, procurement, and international logistics for parts, modifications & upgrades, and repairs.
- Manage financial risks and impacts associated with quote and order activities by customer and/or country when determining international logistics requirements (delivery incoterms (2000, 2010, 2020), import/export compliance, duty minimizing programs, banking documents, etc.).
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or similar, or must be in the process of obtaining bachelor’s degree. 5+ years of experience in international Sales/Marketing, Order management, logistics, project management or other technical fields is required.
- Frequent travel to and from the Product Competency Center overseas will be required while you learn from the Subject Matter Expert.
- Knowledge of international logistics, import, and export requirements/regulations is desirable. Proficiency in SAP, SharePoint, RDA/RPA Automation, Alteryx, Mendix, UI Path is a plus!
- Demonstrate leadership skills by leading by example, communicating effectively, empowering and motivating your team, making informed decisions, and fostering a positive, inclusive, and accountable work environment! Displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems and engage in and build a continuous improvement and simplification culture, while being flexible, solutions oriented, and able to effectively prioritize your workload.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
