Are you an expert in the energy industry looking for your next challenge? We have a great opportunity for you to join our team as an Expert Network Studies!
As an Expert Network Studies, you play a critical role in driving the energy transition and in creating a more sustainable future. As part of a global team of motivated and passionate individuals, you leverage your technical background to coordinate technical studies related power transmission, and work closely with our customers to develop customized solutions that improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact. You will guide them in selecting optimal solutions, that meet their specific needs, and be integral part of project with real impact on the world.
How You’ll Make an Impact
As an Expert Network Studies you are
- Working on consulting engagements within a multi-cultural environment
- Driving analysis of power systems, engagements for transmission and industrial network planning, and grid interconnection studies of large generation, storage and load resources.
- Supporting the integration of power electronic devices, renewable generation, storage devices, HVDCs, etc. into AC grids (from conceptual studies to project execution).
- Supporting the analyses of high frequency phenomena like harmonic distortion, transient overvoltage, TRV, missing zero-crossings, or inrush currents
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field (Master’s or Ph.D. degree preferred)
- Proven experience in conducting power system analysis in steady and transient states
- Broad knowledge of transmission planning and operating studies (100 kV ~ 765 kV), power system performance analyses including load flow, dynamic stability, voltage stability, protection coordination, short-circuit and transfer limits.
- Advanced skills in HVDC and FACTS applications, power transmission systems, industrial power supply concepts, power electronics and renewable generation.
- Experience in power system simulation programs (e.g. PSS/E, TARA, PSLF, DigSilent PowerFactory, ETAP, PSCAD/EMTDC, MATLAB/Simulink).
- Hands-on expertise in programming tools such as Python, FORTRAN, MATLAB, etc.
- Excellent communication skills in speaking and writing
