You as Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the engineering design of Siemens Energy projects providing to our customer the most sophisticated and efficient technological solutions and services.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. We look for candidates with several years of experience in electrical engineering and a proficiency in EPLAN as well as know-how in protection relay systems and preference in wind onshore/offshore experience. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Design and engineering of electrical projects down to the detail to satisfy the specified requirements of the customer.
  • Develop the basic and detail design and build project user documentation (i.e. Single Line Diagrams, Layouts, calculations and technical analysis, Wiring diagrams, Parts List) required to develop and implement the project.
  • Identify risks and opportunities and management thereof.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in project planning and execution.
  • Provide electrical project support, services and guidance from their expertise throughout the different development phases.
  • Continuously improve processes and systems for better efficiency and performance.


What You Bring

  • Degree or integrated masters in Electrical Engineering or similar.
  • Minimum 8 years of proven experience in similar position.
  • Passionate about the energy development.
  • Willingness to travel in and out of the country.
  • Availability for short term site activities.
  • Fluent in English (required).
  • Experience in designing and engineering of electrical projects, mainly LV, MB, HV systems and protection relays.
  • Previous experience in Onshore and/or Offshore wind projects is preferable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and project issues.
  • Organized, teammate and good collaborating skills to reach a global optimum.
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems, general Electrical Balance of Plant (EBoP), respective components, and design principles.
  • Preference for knowledge/experience in communication protocols and networks.
  • Preference for knowledge and experience in Protection Relays.
  • Preference for knowledge and experience in CAD.
  • Proficient in EPLAN software to develop wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Preference for knowledge/experience in other electrical simulation and engineering tools (i.e Siemens Simaris, PSS Sincal. ETAP).
  • Experience in the energy sector and good understanding of main applicable LV, MV, HV electrical products and standards, guidelines and grid codes.
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols and practices in all project activities.
