A Snapshot of Your Day
The Business Improvement Professional role is a key function within the Compressor Global Advanced Services organization responsible for supporting business improvements & strategic growth initiatives in close partnership with Project Management, Engineering, Parts, Field Service, Repair, Supply Chain, and our Cross-Business Area Regional Sales teams focused on Long Term Service Programs and Modernization & Upgrades business globally. This position has a direct impact on the overall strategic & financial success of the Compressor Service business.
This includes support to strategic business improvement projects with management & team members located primarily in the Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Asia, responsible for delivering operational excellence initiatives to achieve business targets.
This role will report to the Business Improvement Lead - Advanced Services and can be located in Brazil.
We are looking for a self-motivated, dynamic, customer-focused professional that looks at shaping the Compression service business for future generations!
How You’ll Make an Impact
Work closely with Advanced Services leadership team to support business improvement initiatives and ensure successful implementation.
Support & coordinate internal process improvement programs that have a direct impact on the Sales efficiency, competitiveness, compressor portfolio positioning, cross business collaboration, & promoting synergies.
Support with data integrity, troubleshooting and maintainability of critical Advanced Services cost modeling and forecasting tools, including programming and automation functionalities. Intermediate knowledge of VBA programming language is required.
Demonstrated strong analytical capabilities and organizational skills, with a knack for developing and delivering key projects on time and with high-quality results.

What You Bring
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in the service business sector, with specializations in Sales, Project Management, Strategy, or similar areas.
- A proven track record of driving and implementing effective business development programs.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel approximately 10%-15% domestically and internationally.
- Software Competence: Competent in utilizing PowerPoint, Salesforce.com, Tableau or Power BI for effective data presentation and analysis.
- MS-Excel: Strong proficiency in Excel, including the use of advanced functions, pivot tables, and charts, capable of managing and analyzing moderately large datasets.
- VBA Programming: Intermediate knowledge in VBA to automate Excel tasks, streamline processes, and improve efficiency. Comfortable with writing and editing macros, and employing basic error-handling techniques.
- Data Manipulation: Skilled in utilizing Excel for tasks such as data cleaning, analysis, and the creation of clear visualizations.
- Problem-Solving: Adept at applying Excel and VBA solutions to simplify business processes, enhance data reporting, and support strategic decision-making.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, with proficiency in additional languages considered a significant advantage.
