Principal Responsibilities:
• Read and understand client specifications including equipment, industry standards (i.e., API, ASME, etc), and Siemens Energy standards, and apply to the design of auxiliary systems related to Aero Derivative Gas Turbines
• Design knowledge of Turbomachine (preferably Gas Turbine) auxiliaries like Baseplate, Lube Oil Console, Fuel Systems, Gas Seal System, Water wash System etc. and experience in Development projects related to GT Auxiliary Systems
• Prepare auxiliary systems diagrams and bills of material to meet contract requirements.
• Experience in selection of Instruments, control valve sizing/selection, wiring of instruments within package
• Prepare specifications for piping, installation and systems drafting to meet customer requirements.
• Write and issue technical documentation as required.
• Responsible to ensure that all packaged equipment designs meet the Company design rules and current practices.
• Assist Field Service Department in resolving systems related problems.
• Meets assigned task requirements in a timely manner, with minimal supervision.
• Identifies any design problems or omissions and takes appropriate corrective action.
• Experience in Product Improvement, Quality Improvement and Cost reduction initiatives.
• Ability to lead PI initiatives, to conduct RCA and CAPA
• Conduct or attend engineering meetings with internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Works well as a team player to solve problems. Helps and encourages co-workers.
• Works within the spirit of the company Code of Conduct and other company policies.

Minimum with First Class bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent from a reputed Institution with minimum relevant work experience of 10-12 years, preferably in Oil & Gas or Energy industry /Aerospace and/Equivalent

Desirable Qualification:
Working knowledge of API Standards (614, 616, 617), P&ID’s, Data Sheets, bill of material, Globus/Teamcenter/PLM2020, NX and Microsoft Office.
Experience of performing Process Innovation/Technology Innovation activities
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified (preferable)
Ability to work in team environment, good verbal and written communication skills.
