Join our dynamic team as an Automation Test Engineer, where you’ll dive into software requirements to enhance product testability from an automation perspective. You’ll design comprehensive test documentation, including test plans and traceability matrices, while developing and improving automation frameworks tailored to product needs. Implement automated test suites across multiple platforms, ensuring reliability and early defect detection. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to drive continuous optimization of automation coverage and test effectiveness. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Conduct in-depth analysis of software requirements to evaluate and enhance product testability from an automation perspective.
- Design comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices aligned with quality objectives.
- Develop and continuously improve automation frameworks, including step definitions, drivers, utilities, and custom libraries tailored to product needs.
- Build / Customize the automation framework / Step definitions / Drivers / Libraries.
- Implement the scripts / test cases for the different products.
- Oversee and implement automated test suites across multiple platforms and environments, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and early defect detection.
- Interact with multi-functional teams to advocate for testability improvements, and drive continuous optimization of automation coverage and test effectiveness
What You Bring
- BE / B. Tech / MCA / ME / M. Tech in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering/ with an excellent academic track record
- Minimum 3-6 years of experience in Manual testing & at least 2 years of experience with Agile methodologies & Behavior Driven Development.
- Hands on extensive experience in developing and implementation of Test documents like Feature files, Test cases, Test Plan, Test Strategy etc. and doing
- Strong Database skills (MySQL & SQL server)
- ISTQB certification.
- Exposure to scripting languages (Ruby, PowerShell, Python) & BDD testing.
- Good understanding of test and defect tracking tools (defect logging tools, test management tools, versioning systems, statistical tools, performance monitoring tools, test automation tools etc.)
- Quick learner for new technologies with good analytical and problem-solving skills
