A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Technical Project Manager at Siemens Energy, you will operate at the intersection of business, technology, and delivery. Your day will involve working closely with global and international stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into clear technical and project requirements, and drive IT initiatives across application development and operations. With a strong technical foundation and a structured project management approach, you will guide teams through ambiguity, coordinate across multiple interfaces, and ensure projects are delivered accurately, on time, and in line with defined objectives while maintaining high-quality communication and stakeholder alignment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Drive effective knowledge management, communication, and governance across IT projects.
• Understand business needs through detailed requirements analysis, evaluate alternatives, determine resolutions, and recommend appropriate actions.
• Manage IT projects across application development and operations, including cost, schedule, resources, risks, and stakeholder management.
• Ensure project timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met as planned.
• Provide regular, accurate, and up-to-date project status reports and management reports to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with multiple Single Points of Contact (SPoCs) to understand related topics and requirements and define appropriate strategies and roadmaps.
• Develop, foster, and maintain highly effective customer and stakeholder interactions in a global environment.

What You Bring

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification, ideally with experience in project management.
• 6–8 years of total professional experience in a similar technical project management role.
• Strong technical understanding with the ability to provide guidance and direction to teams and stakeholders.
• Proven experience in planning, coordinating, and managing IT projects.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of project processes, documentation, management reports, and project status reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills within a global environment.
• Mandatory experience working with international teams in a similar role.
• High level of flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively to achieve defined objectives.
• Clear, logical, and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• High responsiveness and keen perception.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Service Management / ITIL knowledge or certification is an added advantage.
