A Snapshot of Your Day
Siemens Energy is experiencing strong growth and is strategically investing in Digital Transformation to enhance competitiveness. We are seeking a highly motivated, visionary Teamcenter Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of PLM solutions across Siemens Energy. In this role, you will be part of an international team driving process improvements, solution architecture, and integrations for Teamcenter. You will collaborate with various organisations and contribute to strategic digitalisation initiatives within Siemens Energy. This position is part of the Siemens Energy Global IT & Digitalisation organisation and can be located in Gurgaon or Pune.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Solution Design & Implementation: Lead the design, configuration, customisation, and deployment of Teamcenter solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and digital transformation goals.
- Technical leadership: Guide development teams on best practices, performance tuning, and quality assurance. Mentor colleagues with a view to establishing a state-of-the-art Teamcenter solution architecture.
- Consulting: Advise on Teamcenter architecture, best practices, and integration strategies. Provide guidance on solution optimisation and process improvements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop tailored PLM solutions, and deliver end-to-end implementations.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders to ensure solutions deliver measurable value.
- Innovation: Identify and promote innovative approaches to enhance PLM processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Value Delivery: Ensure IT solutions and services deliver tangible value to the business and support operational excellence.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6 to 9 years of experience architecting and implementing Teamcenter solutions in production environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Teamcenter configuration (BMIDE, AWC), customisation (ITK, SOA, scripting), and integration.
- Familiarity with a range of Teamcenter modules, such as BOM Management, Change Management, Product Configurator, Active Workspace, as well as up- and downstream integrations.
- End-to-end PLM process knowledge (Engineering, Manufacturing, Service) and understanding of cross-application data flows.
- Fundamental process knowledge of Engineer-to-Order and Configure-to-Order processes.
- Relevant certifications and training in Teamcenter and related technologies.
- Basic knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure concepts (systems, networking, virtualisation, containerisation) is beneficial.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with global and cross-functional teams.
- Proactive, empathetic, and approachable attitude.
