A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Supplier Quality Engineer, your day will be filled with engaging interactions with suppliers, analysing data, and driving continuous improvement. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality standards are met, while fostering strong relationships with our valued suppliers.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead external audits and quality reviews, collaborating with suppliers to address and eliminate non-conformity
- Perform the qualification and development of suppliers, continuously improving their quality and deliveries
- Monitor supplier performance, implement, and control prevention-oriented methods and risk management in supplier-related processes and products
- Represent Siemens Energy in all quality-related matters with our suppliers, ensuring delivery quality and minimizing follow-up costs
- How You'll Make an Impact
What You Bring
- Technical training or further education in quality, mechanical, or electrical engineering
- Professional experience in quality management, manufacturing, or purchasing
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45011), Supplier Quality Management (SQM) and Quality Control routines
- Knowledge of root cause analysis tools: 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, and proficiency in MS Office tools and SAP
