Whether you’re a recent graduate or have a few years of experience, you are the future of innovation and leadership. That’s why the global Siemens Energy Graduate Program (SGP) can help you unleash your full potential. With guidance from experienced mentors, extensive training opportunities, and the chance to expand your global network, you will grow both your career and your personal capabilities.

What You Can Expect

Over two exciting years, you’ll gain hands-on experiences and become an active part of your team’s daily activities. Through impactful projects in three customized assignments – including an eight-month international placement – you’ll gain a deep understanding of Siemens Energy. A dedicated mentor will support you every step of the way, giving you the chance to explore different roles, engage in immersive experiences, and build a strong network with peers and industry leaders.
As a Graduate Engineer – Scalable Manufacturing Innovation, you will contribute to the design, industrialization, and scaling of innovation initiatives across Siemens Energy manufacturing environments, with a strong focus on translating new ideas – particularly physical artificial intelligence – into repeatable, data-driven, and scalable solutions across factories and regions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

As part of our Graduate Program, you are on the Siemens Energy team. You’ll share our purpose in energizing society by supporting customers with transitioning to a more sustainable world and work on real global issues, creating solutions that directly make an impact.
  • Contribute to the identification, evaluation, and scaling of innovation use cases across manufacturing, operations, and factory management
  • Support cross-functional innovation projects from pilot phase to industrial rollout across multiple production locations, leveraging technologies such as physical artificial intelligence
  • Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes using data analytics, digital tools, and structured problem-solving methods, and contribute to standardization of global factory processes and governance models
What You Bring
  • Strong interest in manufacturing environments, industrial processes, and operational innovation, with a structured and analytical mindset
  • Relevant experience through internships, thesis work, or project work in production, operations, digitalization, or industrial transformation; additional permanent work experience of up to 36 months is welcome
  • A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Data / Digital Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 months of international experience gained through studying or working
  • Excellent English skills to engage in a multicultural environment; German is an advantage depending on hiring location, with flexibility and willingness for international travel
