How your day will be:
The person in this position will be responsible for Mexico to provide support to control and digitization customers, reporting to the SE GS LA CD SO SE service management. The organization is responsible for providing excellent service to customers who have installed Omnivise T3000 distributed control systems and Siemens Energy brand excitation systems and generator protection systems.
How you will stand out:
- Manage multi-year maintenance contracts for plant control systems with Omnivise T3000
- Execute the implementation of service projects on Omnivise T3000 control systems, digital solutions, excitation systems and generator protection
- Commercial closure and support for the billing of executed projects and services
- Plan activities and resources for scheduled maintenance shutdowns
- Prepare cost estimates for time and material works and organize subsequent execution
- Collaborate with the sales team in developing opportunities based on the lifecycle of the installed control systems, excitation, and generator protection systems
- Collaborate with the offers group to provide reliable information on customers installed base
- Evaluate and develop suppliers and subcontractors and generate requests for subcontracted services
What you bring:
- Control, electrical, electronic engineering degree
- 6 years of field experience in distributed control systems such as DCS Omnivise -T3000, SPPA-T2000, PCS7, Ovation, or similar systems
- Experience in Project Management, handling terms and conditions, cost management and billing, project closure,
- Basic knowledge of maintenance of turbines, generators, transformers, protections, and auxiliary systems
- General knowledge of power generation plants, personnel management, and interdisciplinary work groups. Result-oriented attitude, conflict management, and customer satisfaction, ability to adapt and learn new skills
- Validated knowledge of Windows, Office, Maintenance Management Software (SAP or similar), MS Project or similar
- Project certification (PMI, IPMA, PM@Siemens, or equivalent) - small projects level
- solid oral and written communication skills in English, the position requires frequent meetings with the teams based in USA and Europe
- The position requires 40% travel both domestically and internationally.
