A Snapshot of Your Day
As Senior Technical Project Manager you will lead and manage the substation engineering work for onshore substations, offshore wind projects, Power-to-X (PtX) technologies, and energy transmission projects in general. That means you can be involved from the bidding process, all the way through the project execution until the warranty is concluded and the project is handed over on to service.
You will be the Technical Project Manager resource for sales opportunities and for project execution. Therefore, you can simultaneously work in sales opportunities and projects. Besides the sales and project teams, you will have a close collaboration with our Project Management department, procurement function as well as our international business units. By joining us you will become part of a continuously growing team of passionate Technical Project Managers and Engineers.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Coordinate overall single-line diagram for the substations and overall substation layouts together with our 3D team.
- Coordinate all the electrotechnical drawings related to the scope.
- Give input to and plan installation and commissioning phase.
- Coordinate technical input and give support to Procurement team within the selection and onboarding process of suppliers.
- Work proactively in close collaboration with overall project managers as well as other technical project managers and specialists.
- Coordinate the technical procurement of materials for the substation
- Execute thorough QA of suppliers’ projects deliverables.
- Coordinate the civil design input with our civil partners.
What You Bring
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with 5+ years of experience in substation design and engineering
- Broad knowledge within subsystems included in the substation in any of the following areas: Air Insulated Switchgear, Gas Insulated Switchgear, Oil filled components, compensation systems, HV and MV cable systems and their terminations, Auxiliary systems, civil works
- Has proven experience in working under rules according to the Danish legislation 1608, as well as experience in the field of a High Voltage substations, either as a “Arbejdsleder” or similar position understanding the practicalities on the site.
- Basic understanding of cyber security in projects.
- Thorough understanding of interfaces and design flow between the sub-systems as well as the capability to break down the design work in appropriate steps for planning purposes.
- Project and customer focused combined with strong written and oral communication skills for co-working with technical and non-technical colleagues and stakeholders.
- Proven supplier management skills.
- Proficiency in Written and Spoken Danish is a requirement
