A Snapshot of Your Day 

As Senior HRSG System Manager (f/m/d), you will join our international proposal and execution teams. In this role, you collaborate with global contractors to oversee the thermodynamic design, integration, and performance of boiler systems, including combined heat and power, decarbonized, and hybrid solutions across the entire power plant. Your responsibilities will include evaluating and providing feedback on customer specifications and questionnaires, thermodynamic calculations, and assessing supplier calculations. 

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Evaluating customer requirements (e.g. specifications, contract) 
  • Evaluating the thermodynamic design of suppliers during the bid and execution stage of projects 
  • Developing optimized project specific solutions with suppliers, focusing on balancing power output, efficiency, and costs 
  • Coordinating and optimizing HRSG systems regarding performance and design of the heat exchanger 
What You Bring
  • A master's degree or equivalent in Engineering 
  • Long-term relevant experience in the field of thermodynamic design (e.g. KRAWAL) in HRSG/WHRLI and combined cycle design for power plants 
  • Specialist knowledge of HRSG systems, power plant components, and associated codes and standards, with the ability to review complete Boiler/HRSG designs 
  • Self-motivation, strong drive for results, ability to multi-task, excellent organizational skills, and a focus on quality 
  • Willingness for business travel with international contacts (Minimum 20% travel is required) 
  • Proficiency in English paired with intercultural sensitivity to work in (virtual) international teams and with international suppliers

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and 
decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, 
steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, 
modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
