A Snapshot of Your Day

As a member of our team for BI & Reporting within our AC organization, you work on challenging projects from all areas of the accounting and controlling community. Additionally, you are responsible for support and maintenance of a wide range of standard reporting applications, as well as act as project lead in new projects. Together with our Digital Core department you are working on ways to help our business to drive maximum value from data and reporting solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Contributing into the Digital Finance activities/projects with hands-on opportunity by translating business needs into analytics/reporting requirements to support executive decisions and workflows with required information
• Develops analytical strategies to solve requirements by understanding the business problem, identifying relevant data, gathering and summarizing data meaningfully, and applying appropriate statistical analysis
• Transforms complex data into easy-to-follow reporting through graphing, charts, and dashboards
• Ability to coordinate the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation
• Establish and maintain relationships with relevant business users, providing recurrent contact on project status and changes when necessary
• Initiation of improvements and further developments related to process within our responsibility

What You Bring

• Finance and BI Expertise: At least five years of experience as a data analyst, business intelligence analyst, financial analyst, statistician, or equivalent role; experience in project management would be a plus
• Technical Proficiency: Good understanding of data warehousing like Snowflake as well as programming languages (Python, R, JavaScript) and experience as well as proven knowledge of SQL, REST and query optimization.
• Presentation skills: Experience with data visualization software like Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and practical knowledge in Management Reporting and Reporting Tools (like Analysis for Office or Power BI Desktop)
• Effective Communication: Good communication, summarization, and presentation skills between diverse departments with the ability to identify patterns, correlations, and trends from data that can provide insights into business operations
• Problem-Solving Mentality: Willingness and ability to stay up to date with the latest trends, techniques, and tools in data analysis, machine learning, and business intelligence
• Language Skills: Proficient in English, both written and spoken, other language is a plus
