A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Demand & Solution Manager, you will work closely with colleagues across various HR functions, IT, Legal, and Finance to drive, develop, and implement strategies that identify and evaluate the best-fit solutions for our HR needs. Your efforts will focus on supporting our HR IT Roadmap to ensure a lean IT landscape, enhance the employee user experience, and establish a future-fit foundation.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and handling demands to ensure our organization can effectively respond to evolving requirements. Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with collaborators and provide authority guidance on demand management and solution development will be crucial to our success.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Drive the demand management process to support and consult clients in identifying and prioritizing requirements and opportunities. This proactive approach ensures the organization can effectively respond to changing requirements, maintaining a stable operational environment.
  • Lead and handle demand to streamline HR processes, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance overall productivity. Your efforts will ensure smooth and effective HR operations, supplying to the organization's success.
  • Develop and present tailored solutions that align with HR IT Strategy and client objectives. Your expertise will help address sophisticated challenges and implement effective solutions that meet organizational needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including clients, partners, and internal teams. Managing team member engagement ensures all relevant parties are aligned and advised, fostering strong relationships and seamless integration of demand management and solutioning activities.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement standard processes across the PS&S department to drive continuous improvement in demand and solutioning processes.
  • Conduct market analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring our solutions remain powerful and driven.
  • Identify and gather struggles and potential improvements related to process steps and system functionalities. Use simplification and automation to achieve higher efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement an implementation plan with our product owner and implementation partners to ensure successful achievement.
  • Ensure proper documentation by collaborating with internal and external partners. Maintain documentation quality and build in-house knowledge.
  • Implement organizational change with a strong understanding of business aspects such as readiness, timing, customer impact, data, tools, systems, and policies.

What You Bring

  • Solid academic foundation with at least a bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Exceptional ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration and alignment of demand management strategies across various departments.
  • Proven track record in leading initiatives, driving organizational change, and influencing teams to achieve compliance and operational excellence. Your leadership skills will be pivotal in guiding teams towards innovative solutions and successful project outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess sophisticated situations, identify key issues, and develop strategic solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing projects. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is highly desirable.
  • A customer-centric approach with the ability to understand and anticipate the needs of internal and external team members, ensuring that solutions are tailored to meet their requirements.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt to changing priorities and demands with ease.
  • A forward-thinking approach with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement, always seeking new ways to enhance processes and deliver value.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey sophisticated information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Strong strategic thinking capabilities to develop long-term plans and initiatives that drive demand management and solutioning success.
  • Fluency in English is crucial, enabling clear and effective communication with global teams and customers.

In this role you will be working within the Human Resources function – HR Systems and Services, a truly global and diverse team of specialists with an open mentality. Our team is responsible for guaranteeing operational performance and budget adherence of HR Systems & Services, ensuring, and maintaining fit-for-purpose HR systems and processes, safeguarding end-to-end delivery while promoting Siemens Energy digital transformation.
