A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our Grid Automation team in Sarajevo and take the lead in designing and engineering protection and control systems for High Voltage Substations worldwide. You’ll collaborate with experts and project managers to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer specifications and industry standards. Every day, you’ll tackle technical challenges, drive compliance, and ensure quality in our global projects. Your teamwork and expertise will help shape the future of energy infrastructure, making a real impact on sustainability and reliability. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Design and define advanced control and protection concepts for high-voltage substation projects, ensuring technical excellence from proposal to delivery.
- Lead the development and execution of detailed engineering work packages, including configuration, parameterization, and thorough testing.
- Guide and support your team to achieve outstanding results and ensure smooth project execution.
- Collaborate with Substation Automation and Cybersecurity Engineering experts to deliver integrated, future-ready solutions.
- Oversee quality assurance activities and secure technical approvals for engineering concepts.
- Deliver impactful trainings and technical presentations for customers, consultants, and regulators, while fostering continuous improvement in system design and configuration.
What You Bring
- A completed university degree in electrical engineering, automation, or a comparable field.
- At least 10 years of professional experience working with protection systems for high-voltage substations.
- In-depth knowledge of protection devices from major vendors such as Siemens, Hitachi Energy, SEL, and GE.
- Proficiency in using configuration tools for bay-level protection and control devices.
- Strong understanding of protection philosophies, test equipment, and relevant communication protocols (IEC101, IEC104, IEC61850).
- Excellent English communication skills; German language proficiency is a valuable asset.
