役割について
A Snapshot of Your Day
As Sales Engineer for Europe and Africa, you will be the local point of contact within the region (e.g. Czech, Poland, Slovakia,..). You are based in the Product Competence Center (PCC) in Brno and you take care for all regional customer inquiries relating to steam turbines, repairs, modifications, technical studies and power plant peripherals.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Coordinate the projects carried out in Brno by your teammates, who are primarily located in the German PCC.
- Prepare quotations for customer inquiries, taking into account the key financial figures in SAP/SD and, as project manager, you are fully responsible for handling the projects won and coordinate the various specialist departments and our plants in this role.
- Plan the strategy, sometimes together with the regional units, drive projects forward and generate growth for the steam turbine fleet you are responsible for. You win projects for customers, fill the project pipeline and exceed customer expectations.
- You are confident in making decisions and can take responsibility for the results of “your countries” in terms of financial figures, customer satisfaction and growth.
- Thanks to your proximity to the market, you will provide important information and support the budgeting and reporting process.
What You Bring
- University degree in engineering or industrial engineering or comparable qualifications.
- Additional knowledge of turbomachinery and power plant technology in general would be an advantage.
- High inner motivation to proactively drive your projects internally and externally to meet customer expectations and our ownership culture.
- Open to changes in organization, tools and processes and are motivated to actively drive them.
- Strong communication skills to lead negotiations and internal project meetings and represent the company and customer interests.
- Willingness to travel approx. 20% of the time to undertake customer visits for a closer partnership and participate in customer seminars.
- You are curious to a close cooperation with the offices and workshops in another countries.
- Fluency in English and Czech. German would be an advantage.
