The Siemens Energy Real Estate Transaction Manager will be responsible to oversee multiple real estate transactions in the Americas, collaborating internally and externally to ensure efficient and cost-effective purchasing, disposal and leasing of property throughout the region.  The transaction manager will follow SE guidelines and processes ensuring timely delivery of each transaction through to execution or handing over to the project team.  This person must have a transaction background and a strong ability to communicate with internal and external partners.  Working with external vendors and internal stakeholders, you will direct all aspects of each transaction within the Americas. 

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Management and / or supervision of purchase, disposal and leasing transactions in the Americas following processes provided by global RE departments  
• Leads transactional site selection, disposal and leasing topics to obtain optimum commercial terms in line with agreed RE strategy for the Americas following processes provided by global RE departments.
• Centre of competence for global RE departments on issues relating to transaction management topics in RE Americas
• Developer/ contributor to the development of Location Concepts, & I Applications in RE Americas
• Establishes and keeps close working relationships with partners in SCM, Legal, Tax, EHS, RE Americas Zones & Regions
• Interface towards the RE Customers / Partners, SE RE Finance, and the Americas Accounting Meta-Hub

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Real Estate or related degree with 10+ years core experience in either real estate management, real estate valuation, real estate project management, real estate development / transactions or a combination of all
• Strong team leader, able to build alliances, manage peers, and communicate with senior & executive management
• Expert knowledge of leases, purchase & sale agreements / processes, latest office occupancy trends, fit out standards and space efficiency tools / market developments, and industrial real estate markets, trends and developments
• Demonstrated the ability to independently and effectively manage and direct multiple projects simultaneously in an extremely fast paced and changing environment; keep projects on time, deal with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines, and work with a diverse array of contacts and senior leadership
• Advanced computer skills with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, and MS Project)
• Must be available to work extended hours and weekends when needed based on site operational needs; flexibility required.  Fluent in English and Spanish
