This individual will manage the RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and R&D development that looks to improve existing products in the various portfolios assisting the Gas Turbine (GT) applications service product lines primarily. This role will also integrate with Engineering to support global project implementation for all frames and engine class within Siemens Energy.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Support/Lead RCA and Product Development for products as defined in the R&D portfolio (Product Management) and collaborate with engineering team to help support creation of product packages release.
  • Lead RCA – collaborate with your team members
  • Derive most probable root cause(s)
  • Elaborate recommendations for mitigation / solution
  • Reduce NCC’s and help improve financials
  • Technical presentations to the customers, significantly improve customer satisfaction
• Engage and/or lead engineering efforts, including Fleet operational monitoring for Gas Turbine fleet.
• Create and/or support engineering documents to support release of recommendations.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an engineering/technical field with at least 2 to 5 years of professional experience
• Strong program management and communications skills, networking building, and solid engineering background. Knowing the ways of working from Siemens Energy is a plus.
• Basic understanding of gas turbines, turbo machinery, or power generation preferred or/and basic knowledge of metallic materials and mechanical integrity preferred
• Ability to structure and analyze, motivation and persistence
• Proficiency in technical writing and conducting formal presentations
• Knowledge of second language considered an asset (Spanish, Portuguese or other)
