役割について
A Snapshot of Your Day
As an R&D Test Engineer, you will validate new products and support redesigns of existing ones through rigorous testing and analysis. Your day will involve planning and executing qualification tests for high-voltage equipment, maintaining the mechanical test laboratory, and collaborating with global teams to ensure compliance with international standards. You will also contribute to innovation projects and provide production support during initial manufacturing phases.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Plan and define qualification tests for high-voltage circuit breakers and components, including first article inspections (FAIs).
- Execute and evaluate qualification tests in collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Analyze test results and determine additional testing needs with quality and test bench teams.
- Maintain internal mechanical test laboratory and ensure safety compliance for equipment and installations.
- Identify and implement autonomous solutions; escalate issues to project management when necessary.
- Support production during initial series manufacturing, both locally and globally.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in product design, development, or testing.
- Technical expertise in electrical equipment, high-voltage products, and circuit breaker standards (IEC, IEEE).
- Proficiency in ProE, PLM Agile, SPS S7, CatmanAP, and MS Office.
- Professional-level English and/or German, with strong communication skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 50%).
