A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Project Planner within GT TR FE PMO, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed schedules across multiple work streams for factory expansion projects. This role requires strong planning expertise, proactive risk management, and effective collaboration in a matrix organization to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project, establishing baseline schedules with ≥95% accuracy and ensuring ≥90% milestone adherence
  • Generate S-curves and progress analytics to track planned vs. actual performance, forecast trends, and support stakeholder reporting across all major work streams
  • Monitor and report project progress against baseline with variance analysis, delivering 100% on-time updates and corrective action plans with minimal discrepancies
  • Identify and mitigate schedule risks proactively (≥90% identification rate), collaborating with work stream leads to implement mitigation strategies (≥95% implementation)
  • Coordinate with stakeholders through planning workshops and progress reviews, ensuring efficient data collection (≤3 business days turnaround) across matrix organization
  • Ensure tool compliance by maintaining all schedules in approved platforms (Primavera P6 and MS Project) with 100% adherence to standards


What You Bring 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related technical field
  • Experience: 5+ years of project planning and scheduling experience in large-scale construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects • Proven expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Project with demonstrated ability to create and maintain complex schedules • Track record of generating S-curves and progress analytics for multi-million dollar projects • Experience collaborating across matrix organizations with multiple stakeholders and work streams
  • Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of construction planning principles, critical path methodology, and resource allocation • Proficiency in risk analysis, schedule variance analysis, and earned value management • Strong capability in progress visualization, dashboards, and executive-level reporting
  • Soft Skills: • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels • Strong analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making abilities • Proactive problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and deadline management
