A Snapshot of Your Day
This position will be supporting the Project Management Office which is part of the Service Programs Department in Siemens Energy. The Project Management Office includes commercial integration of new technologies into our service fleet, logistical support, and the creation and analysis of service program fleet models to optimize program execution. The position will support any one of these three main areas depending on the business needs.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Collaborate with product owners to Develop product specific hypothetical what-if cost modeling scenarios to compare cost changes if current project conditions are altered and present these results to upper management. These analyses are performed to evaluate commercial viability of a project in the given scenario.
- Ability to communicate business needs to development team and strategic objectives so that the tool is in line with upper management objectives.
- Ability to work with team member and stake holders to create and maintain useful reports and Tableau dashboards that provide insights and improve organizational efficiency.
- Ability to design, develop, and maintain complex dashboards and Alteryx workflows.
- Create ad hoc reports based on Financial management needs by understanding product data structure across the SAP and Oracle landscapes.
- Supports the organization by supporting the business in M-File administration, workflow development and M-Files training.
What You Bring
- Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Finance Degree with a solid understanding of data structures. Usually an MBA alongside the technical degree
- Proficient with Data Visualization tools and relational databases with the ability to adapt to new systems.
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in data visualization, data analytics.
- Must be proficient in presenting to large groups.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of an EPC contract involving construction and building works in a multi-contractor environment. The Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Completion and comment on design reviews for all disciplines,
- Completion of all pre-construction planning documentation, providing inputs and expertise. Preparation and planning associated with Site Mobilization, including Site trailer set up.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the construction site, including managing subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. Work closely and coordinate Site based Siemens Energy team members, incl. but not limited to Document Manager, Project Engineer, Supervisors, Commissioning Personnel
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the project schedule in a safe manner, within budget, and quality requirements, Promote the Zero Harm policies in everyday life while on the project,
- Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with legal, regulatory, and company requirements,
What You Bring
- Experience 6 – 10 years working on EPC contracts involving construction and building works in a multi-contractor environment.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and principles, as well as safety and environmental regulations.
- Proficient in project/construction management software and tools.
- The drive and enthusiasm to proactively handle all issues, matters and challenges on the project site.
- OSHA 30 safety training.
- Willingness and availability to travel for long durations.
