A Snapshot of Your Day

Join our dynamic Grid Enhanced Technology team as a Product Owner (m/f/d), where you will oversee the technical lifecycle of embedded hardware and software for sensor systems. Your role is pivotal in enhancing transformers, which serve as essential grid assets, providing valuable insights into asset and fleet health for our customers. You will collaborate closely with the product management team, development team, external suppliers, and various internal stakeholders, including procurement and quality. As a key member of our skilled and diverse team, you will embody our values and work diligently to transform challenges into innovative solutions for our customers.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Drive the development and maintenance of sensor systems within our digitalization portfolio using your expertise.
  • Derive system, software, and hardware requirements from business needs to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Manage technical requirements concerning versioning, change, and validation while supporting quality assurance topics.
  • Assist in creating test strategies and test cases to ensure robust product performance.
  • Plan product progression in line with development capacity, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Support the planning and control of project budgets and timelines to optimize resource allocation.
  • Efficiently steer external suppliers and developers within the given environment, contributing to continuous improvement.

What You Bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering, information or communications technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience, with a strong background in embedded software and/or hardware design/testing.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software and/or hardware development.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner in agile development.
  • Familiarity with embedded hardware project management is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Experience with UHF applications and high voltage electronics is advantageous but not required.
  • Proficiency in business English, with strong skills in preparing and reporting status updates to internal management.
  • A high level of self-management and an entrepreneurial mindset to effectively navigate project management variables such as quality, cost, and time.
