A Snapshot of Your Day
The Prevailing Wage Account Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with prevailing wage laws and regulations specific to the Wind Power industry, specifically for the United States of America. This role will involve monitoring, analyzing, and implementing wage standards for projects in accordance with the 2025 (and future years) prevailing wage guidelines. This position will require very proficient skills in MS Excel including knowledge of creating and managing macro enabled worksheets, pivot tables, etc. This role will need to have the ability to navigate contractual documents to determine different Prevailing Wage requirements for different customer contracts. There will be interactions with Operations Managers, HR support teams, Payroll teams, Customers and DOL (Department of Labor) contacts.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Review and interpret prevailing wage laws and regulations applicable to Wind Power projects in the U.S., while staying updated on changes in legislation and industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local prevailing wage requirements across all projects, and serve as a liaison between the company and regulatory agencies on wage compliance matters.
- Collaborate with project managers and HR to maintain accurate wage records and documentation in alignment with prevailing wage standards.
- Conduct audits and assessments to verify adherence to prevailing wage laws and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide training and support to project teams to ensure understanding and proper implementation of prevailing wage compliance practices.
- Prepare reports and documentation required by regulatory agencies, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

About the Team
Operational Readiness – Prepare new and repower projects for success on day 1 of operations.
Supplier Claims – Ensuring your Supplier Claims Specialists have the tools and support needed to open and close claims with 3rd party suppliers in a timely basis and reporting savings to the business.
Resource Management (Travel Technicians) – Supporting the resource manager and ensuring that OPS sites have budgeted for resource requests. Establishing positive communications with 3rd party ISP’s and working with qualified personnel.
Electrical & Mechanical Specialists – Ensuring cross training with OPS sites and Travel Technicians, when possible, to maximize specialist’s requests for inspections/replacements needed in the field.
Prevailing Wage – Managing Prevailing Wage requirements for effected contracts and ensuring accurate and proper reporting to customers and payroll support for applicable prevailing wage contracts.
