We are looking for a highly motivated Operational Controller to join the Grid Technologies Finance team.

In this role, you will take end‑to‑end ownership of selected Execution Units (EXUs) at EU level and act as a trusted finance partner for regional stakeholders. The position is designed to combine operational excellence, analytical depth, and growing management exposure, while enabling effective backup within the regional controlling setup.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Transparency and analysis across all regional financial KPIs.
• Drive financial transparency, forecasting accuracy, and insightful analysis for Sales, with end‑to‑end ownership of sales‑driven KPIs such as Order Intake and Sales Margin.
• Contribute to the standardization, digitalization, and automation of reporting processes using tools like Alteryx to improve efficiency, transparency, and data quality.
• Monitor performance through variance analysis, trend tracking, and clear explanation of key deviations.
• Collaborate closely with EXU stakeholders and the regional controlling lead while supporting headcount and SG&A planning for GT Sales Europe.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and cycle‑based reporting activities, including preparation of key messages and management explanations.

What You Bring

• BA/BS/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance, with strong knowledge of financial controlling and IFRS.
• Have 5+ years of experience in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, or Audit, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and reporting requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with digitalization tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, and Excel, supported by a strong digital mindset.
• Knowledge of ERP and finance systems knowledge, ideally SAP/Spiridon, and demonstrate the ability to think outside the box, challenge the status quo, and drive change.
• Show a proactive, dynamic, results‑oriented, and hands‑on attitude, combined with strong collaboration skills and a team‑player mindset.
• Speak English fluently, preferably with additional German proficiency.
