A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a Pre-Production MRP Controller, you will manage an assigned group of components within the ERP system and relevant project databases to support change programs and future customer demands. You will ensure ERP compliance from a delivery, invoicing, and inventory perspective by maintaining relevant parameters and adhering to policies and practices for the assigned components within the change programs.

You will also be responsible for the effective management of all inventories and associated parts (including material at external points), which includes conducting audits. Analyzing customer demand (both internal and external) and the supply situation, as well as responding to related queries, will be a key aspect of your role.

Additionally, you will collaborate with the configuration team to support the creation and maintenance of new BOMs for new product introductions or product changes. You will also work within assigned integrated project teams to ensure adherence to the manufacturing launch plan, meet the demands of change programs, and address future business needs post-implementation through regular reviews with suppliers.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Develop alternatives/substitutions in collaboration with technical and strategic functions to maintain requirements adherence
  • Drive continuous improvement activities within their supply chain, e.g., optimize inventory levels, improve delivery reliability, reduce lead times, and eliminate non-value-added activities.
  • Working within the assigned integrated project teams to ensure schedule adherence to the manufacturing launch plan, the demands of the change programs, and future demands of the business post the implementation of the program through regular reviews with the supplier.
  • Ensure that the load and capacity implications are reviewed and understood for the defined set of part numbers at each of the suppliers within the change program.
  • Ensure all unresolved issues are escalated in a timely and effective manner.

What You Bring  

  • University Degree with related work experience in manufacturing environment 5-10 years
  • Key Technical / Professional Competencies
    • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to easily build rapport within all levels of the organization.
    • Planning proactive – anticipates problems and develops effective plans / contingency actions.
    • Communication – ensures key messages are understood and the required actions are taken.
    • Problem solving – can solve problems and get things done.
    • Robustness – copes well with pressure uncertainty and changing circumstances.
  • Key Skills: MS Office (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerBI, Teams), SAP and MS Project.
