A Snapshot of Your Day
As an Installation Lead for Offshore Construction at Siemens Gamesa, your day will revolve around supervising and directing teams to ensure the safe, timely, and effective execution of offshore installation projects. You will lead EHS effectively, foster Zero Harm culture, collaborate with Site Management to improve safety and quality standards.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Provide visible, solid, and effective leadership within the project, acting as a role model and voice of Zero Harm. Ensure standards, procedures, and plans are implemented to build a safe working environment.
- Support EHS topics in planning meetings and ensure all assessment, documentation, and certification processes are in place during project execution.
- Ensure all personnel, including contractors, are qualified and fully aware of project information relevant to their tasks.
- Oversee that all work proceeds in line with required documentation, permits, and RAMS.
- Drive a Zero Defect culture by ensuring high quality work that minimizes non-standard tasks or rework.
- Lead the implementation of Lean workflows, report deviations, and implement corrective actions to avoid recurrence.
- Monitor and control team working hours, ensuring proper registration and mitigation of excessive hours.
What You Bring
- Experience as a leader in large international manufacturing or industrial environments, preferably with offshore wind installation experience.
- In-depth technical knowledge of wind turbine products and offshore project execution.
- Strong EHS and Quality focus, with the ability to identify risks before they occur. Familiarity with SGRE Enablon, QA, and EHS processes is a plus.
- Ability to handle conflicts, solve technical problems, and keep teams focused and motivated.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to travel globally and work on a rotational basis, both onshore and offshore.
