A Snapshot of Your Day 

SE IT APD PLM provides reliable and cost-efficient PLM IT Solutions and Business Capability Consulting to Siemens Energy. The team improves delivery processes and explores new technologies for global collaboration. As a PLM Data Migration Project Manager, you will plan and manage all data migration activities in a complex landscape. You will coordinate with your team to schedule and synchronize IT migration tasks with other rollouts and ERP activities. You will ensure the migration logic is implemented, tested, and monitored, ensuring timely and quality migration of PLM data to the new Teamcenter and SAP systems.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • You are responsible to coordinate all PLM department internal data cleansing and migration efforts, manage risks, and ensure the migration project adheres to timelines and budget constraints.
  • You collaborate with stakeholders, including business units, Teamcenter implementation teams, data integration team, SAP migration teams and the PLM Masterplan management, to define your project goals and objectives.
  • Orchestrate all project internal PLM data cleansing and migration activities, ensuring team is working efficiently and that all migration requirements and concepts are fulfilled in time and with right quality.
  • Oversee all project internal implementation workstreams, reviewing progress, supporting the team, and consulting in migration roadmaps to identify conflicts.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding business needs, and offering tailored PLM migration solutions.
  • Maintain a close communication approach with all stakeholders, other PLM delivery projects and build up a tight collaboration with the global SAP migration team and the migration platform team
What You Bring
  • Completed university studies in computer science, business informatics, mechanical engineering, or a comparable education, with several years of professional experience in PLM process and solution consulting or implementation.
  • At least 5 years of PLM/engineering data migration experience, including 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience with PLM/engineering data migration between PLM systems and between PLM and ERP systems in a global environment.
  • Ideally experienced with eQube-MI GMP as a migration platform.
  • Proven project management experience, strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and networking skills, including cross-cultural abilities.
  • Ability to work under time constraints, adapt to change, and communicate fluently in English, with readiness to travel globally if required
