A Snapshot of Your Day

As a member of the Digital Grid Finance Team, you will lead all Controlling related topics for setting up the panel assembly in Newcastle, UK, working closely with closely with the Production, Testing, Logistics, and Project Management colleagues. In this role you will report to the Head of Finance for Europe at Digital Grid. You will gain a comprehensive overview of the specialist area of establishing the first ever assembly unit at Digital Grid and will continually be faced with new and exciting opportunities to learn & develop.

What You Bring

• Degree in Business Administration or Economics or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in factory controlling
• Good knowledge of SAP and MS office is necessary
• Strong human skills; communication, team spirit & mindfulness
• Fluent English; knowledge of additional languages is welcome
• Entrepreneurial attitude

Your responsibilities

• Responsibility for various areas of controlling, such as cost center controlling, inventory analyses and trending, investment projects, and internal control mechanisms
• Monthly reporting of the units financial key figures and responsible for financial planning and forecasting activities
• Operational topics around order management
• Special topics and areas such as inventory, hedging, and guarantees
• Initiating and monitoring productivity measures to improve results from a controlling perspective
• Further development of digitalization in controlling and, in the future, development as an SAP key user with a key role in the upcoming S4E Unify project (new SE SAP implementation)
