A Snapshot of Your Day
As an HR Consultant – Operations, you are a key enabler of globally consistent and scalable HR service delivery. Your role centers on steering the transition of external service providers into Global Delivery Centers, ensuring operational alignment across internal teams such as Payroll, Systems, Services, and Global Mobility. You coordinate country rollout plans with a regional lens, helping to avoid duplication and ensuring a streamlined, efficient implementation approach.
You act as a strategic connector—bridging internal stakeholders and external partners—while applying a strong data-driven mindset. By leveraging metrics and analytics, you identify trends, monitor performance, and proactively guide delivery outcomes. Your ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights is essential for driving operational excellence and ensuring accountability across delivery streams.
Building and maintaining strong relationships is at the core of your work. You serve as the first point of contact in case of escalations, ensuring timely and constructive resolution while preserving trust and collaboration. You work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to align expectations, resolve issues, and foster a culture of transparency and continuous improvement.
With a global perspective and a structured approach, you contribute to the setup, stabilization, and optimization of Global Delivery Centers. Your ability to balance operational detail with strategic oversight makes you a critical enabler of our global HR transformation journey—ensuring that services are delivered efficiently, consistently, and with a focus on long-term scalability.
How You will Make a difference
- Create transparency: Design and implement a structured approach to monitor and report on the performance and resource utilization of Global Delivery Centers, ensuring visibility for internal stakeholders and leadership
- Drive data-based decisions: Leverage operational data, KPIs, and analytics to proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities, enabling informed decision-making and continuous improvement in service delivery
- Coordinate global rollouts: Align country-specific implementation plans across regions to ensure a harmonized rollout strategy, minimizing disruption and avoiding repeated efforts in the same geography
- Strengthen collaboration: Serve as a central liaison between internal HR functions—such as Payroll, Systems, Services, and Global Mobility—and external service providers to ensure seamless coordination and alignment
- Manage vendor relationships: Actively support the integration and operational steering of external service providers within the global delivery model, ensuring accountability, performance, and alignment with strategic goals
- Act as first line of defense: Take ownership of managing escalations from internal stakeholders or service providers, resolving issues efficiently while maintaining strong, trust-based relationships
- Support delivery center focus: Contribute to the setup, stabilization, or optimization of one or more Global Delivery Centers, bringing operational clarity, structure, and a focus on long-term scalability
- Support change initiatives: Contribute to the planning and execution of HR transformation and change management efforts, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder alignment
What You Bring
- Academic background: Strong academic background, preferably a master’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or a related field
- Work experience: Demonstrated work experience in an HR Business Partner, HR Consultant, or similar strategic HR role – ideally with relevant experience in the setup and management of Global Delivery Centers
- Consultancy background: Experience in a consultancy environment or client-facing HR consulting role is highly desirable, bringing a structured, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Exceptional communication skills: Exhibit excellent communication skills, capable of effectively accompanying and moderating negotiations and decision-making processes
- Continuous improvement mindset: You proactively seek opportunities to optimize HR operations, using feedback, data, and best practices to enhance service delivery and drive operational excellence
- People skills: Display strong interpersonal skills, including empathy and strong networking abilities, to build and maintain effective relationships within different regions and towards external service partners
