Join our dynamic AGT Field Service team as an FS Operations Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring business continuity and operational excellence. You will lead a talented group of Field Service Engineers, setting clear goals and fostering their professional development while ensuring compliance with safety procedures. Imagine overseeing the execution of on-site services for Aeroderivative Gas Turbines, acting as a technical expert to resolve complex issues, and driving process improvements that enhance service quality. Your leadership will not only optimize field service operations but also strengthen key customer relationships, making a significant impact on our mission to deliver exceptional technical services.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will set clear goals and operational objectives for your team of Field Service Engineers, ensuring business targets are met.
- Supervise, mentor, and facilitate the professional development of team members, fostering a culture of accountability and conducting regular performance reviews.
- You will oversee the execution of on-site services, including commissioning, installation, testing, and troubleshooting of AGT systems.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, acting as the primary point of contact for operational matters.
- Monitor and manage operational budgets for field service activities, ensuring financial targets are achieved.
What You Bring
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- You have significant experience in a field service engineering role, preferably within the power generation or oil & gas industry.
- Possess proven leadership experience, managing technical professionals in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
- Strong technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, along with analytical skills to drive process improvements.
- Skilled in operational and project management, with a focus on quality control and collaboration.
