A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) professional, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and regulatory compliance across our service operations. In this capacity, you will be responsible for the strategic coordination and structuring of Service Operations activities, ensuring alignment with EHS standards, industry best practices, and applicable legal requirements.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Provide EHS compliance guidance to project teams.
  • Support projects and operations with a focus on sustainability and legal compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with labor safety, environmental, and occupational health legislation.
  • Conduct occupational risk assessments.
  • Support incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of Near Misses and incidents to ensure that safe work procedures are being followed in accordance with company policy, OHSA, EPA, and client/company policies, as well as applicable regulatory laws of the country in the specified area where work is being performed.
  • Develop and follow up on occupational risk prevention programs.
 

What You Bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree in an EHS-related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience (minimum 4 years).
  • In-depth knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) principles, practices, and procedures, with a strong understanding of applicable national and international regulations.
  • Proven ability to understand and align with organizational business practices, contributing effectively to the resolution of EHS-related challenges.
  • Demonstrated experience in root cause analysis and incident investigation methodologies. Familiarity with Human Factors and Human Performance principles is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in English and/or Portuguese is desirable.
  • Availability to travel up to 70%.
