A Snapshot of Your Day
As the EHS Lead at Siemens Energy, your day will be dedicated to fostering a culture of safety and compliance within the workplace. You will conduct daily inspections, lead training sessions for employees and managers, and ensure adherence to safety regulations and policies. Collaborating with your team, you will document non-conformances, perform risk assessments, and participate in meetings to address EHS-related issues, all while contributing to Siemens Energy’s mission of maintaining a safe and sustainable work environment.
How you’ll make an impact?
- Promote a positive health and safety culture and ensure compliance with safety legislation.
- Lead training sessions on health and safety issues for employees and managers.
- Conduct daily inspections to monitor adherence to safety policies and regulations.
- Document non-conformances and perform risk assessments to mitigate hazards.
- Coordinate first aid administration and train personnel on EHS standards.
- Support compliance with IFC guidelines and prepare for successful audits.
What you bring?
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety.
- Proven leadership experience, preferably in a power plant environment.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is a plus.
- Strong command of English and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of local EHS legislation, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 requirements.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
