As a Customs Operations Specialist, your day is centered around ensuring compliant, efficient, and well‑coordinated customs operations across Siemens Energy. You collaborate closely with Customs teams, the HUB, and cross‑functional partners to keep processes running smoothly while supporting digitalization and continuous improvement.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Build strong collaboration across all involved departments, including Customs teams (import, advisory, quality, anchor), the HUB (procurement, logistics, OM), and Siemens Energy peer groups.
• Organize team members and workload to ensure activities are covered with existing headcount or request additional resources when necessary.
• Ensure hardware, system access, and onboarding support for new hires, while fostering a positive, diverse, and future‑oriented team spirit.
• Familiarize yourself with SE TC C teams, HUB structures, Siemens Energy values, processes, and peer groups, maintaining continuous learning.
• Actively participate in digitalization projects by understanding business backgrounds, interfaces, stakeholders, challenges, and contributing to project growth.
• Integrate into project groups, understand ongoing activities, and take over tasks that support the team.
• Engage in alignment and transfer‑of‑activity meetings, contributing to smooth transitions and cross‑team collaboration.

What You Bring

• At least 3 years of experience in the Customs Field
• You have a professional education or a degree from a university in economics, trade, legal or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Customs regulations and import/export control policies.
• Proven professional experience in working in an international corporate environment.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills
• Very good written and spoken English skills, German is a plus
