A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Contract Management Intern, you will support the Gas Services Project Management team in managing contract documentation, maintaining accurate records, and improving contract administration processes. Working closely with experienced project and contract management professionals, you will contribute to the efficient execution of new contracts while gaining valuable exposure to project delivery within the energy sector.
This internship offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical knowledge of contract management, project coordination, documentation control, and process improvement in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
How You'll Make an Impact
Contract Administration & Documentation
- Assist in the preparation and review of contract documentation.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital contract records, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and easily accessible.
- Prepare and format contract-related correspondence, reports, and summaries.
- Participate in project meetings, document meeting minutes, and track action items.
- Support the development of contract templates and standard operating procedures.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of contract data maintained in management systems.
- Assist in monitoring contract milestones, deliverables, and key deadlines.
- Conduct research on contract terms, contractual obligations, and compliance requirements.
Process Support & Analysis
- Support the mapping and review of contract management processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in reviewing standard contract clauses under the guidance of senior team members.
- Collect and consolidate contract-related data for reporting and analysis.
- Prepare basic analytical reports to support management decision-making.
- Provide general administrative and project support to the Contract Management team.
What You Bring
Education
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
- No prior professional experience required.
- Internship, academic projects, or extracurricular experience related to contract management or project management is an advantage.
- Demonstrated interest in contract management, project management, or the energy industry.
Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of contract management principles.
- Basic knowledge of project management concepts.
- Documentation management skills.
- Data collection and basic analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong written documentation skills.
