A Snapshot of Your Day:

Coordinate the preparation of competitive, innovative, high-quality and customer orientated proposals for the Erection and Commissioning part of HVDC, Grid Access, Switchgear (extension), FACTs, SCPP, CCPP, CCPP-Extension and decarbonization Technology Plants. This includes development of Feed studies (Front-end Engineering) for Electrolysis, Power to X, High Temperature Heat Pumps for Industrial/ Utility clients and for Battery/ Heat storage solutions.

How you will make an Impact:

• Leading all aspects of the erection and commissioning activities of the bid. Coordination with Project Management, Quality and Health & Safety and Procurement Departments and steering the bid activities of various EC-Experts depending on Project setup.
• Evaluate customer specification and contract documents, preparation of consortium contract documents.
• Evaluate site staffing, work permits, and security. Create plans and determine the number of personnel needed for Project Management, Quality, and EHS based on the unique requirements of each Business Area.
• Plan and calculate site and commissioning running cost and for project services (water & power consumption, security team, IT-connection, chemical cleaning and pre-commissioning/ off site testing of the plant control systems).
• Prepare the Installation and Commissioning time schedule for the bids.
• Evaluate of site related project risk and define mitigation measures.
• Define, together with the specialists involved, the best project specific procurement strategy for onsite works.
• Negotiate with customers and consortium partners.
• Point of contact and coordinator of the proposal team.
• Before bid submission to the client, prepare the Q-Gate documentation and present to EC-Management for release of Project cost and Risk exposure.

What you Bring:

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in civil, electrical or mechanical engineering
• Proven experience on international construction sites, advanced knowledge of Construction and / or Commissioning Concepts.
• High motivation to develop new insights and help to improve our cost competitiveness.
• Knowledge in power plant and/ or HVDC-technologies, proposal, claim management and experience in project management and EHS standards
• Ability to understand and analyze complex processes, negotiation, evaluation and decision-making skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, MS Project; knowledge of the iTWO Baseline and Jedox costing tools desirable.
• Proficient in English (written and verbal), German language skills is a plus.
• Collaboration and intercultural sensitivity, initiative, result and quality orientation.
• Flexibility to travel internationally
