A Snapshot of Your Day:

As an Area Sales Manager for Controls & Digitalization, you will target experienced sales professionals with a strong background in the energy sector, particularly in controls technologies. You will lead meaningful projects that drive market penetration and enhance customer relationships, directly impacting Siemens Energy’s mission to provide innovative solutions. Expect a collaborative team culture that values strategic thinking, open communication, and a commitment to excellence, as you work closely with cross-functional teams and industry partners to achieve shared goals.

How You’ll Make an Impact:
  • Develop and implement an annual sales plan to meet order entry targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and negotiate contracts.
  • Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and adapt strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and operations for sales alignment.
  • Prepare and present sales budgets, forecasts, and performance reports.
  • Lead Service sales initiatives and connect with regional project managers.
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of sales management experience in the energy sector, especially in controls technologies.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in competitive markets.
  • Strong understanding of power generation, Oil & Gas, and general industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic, with a willingness to travel 70% of the time, mainly within Saudi Arabia.

About the Team:

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
