A Snapshot of the Day

Review incoming customer claims and requests, and align with the project team on the appropriate course of action. Engage relevant specialists and stakeholders to ensure effective resolution. Develop technical concepts for repairs and corrective measures in close collaboration with international consortium partners and suppliers. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements at all stages. Support the Warranty Project Manager by providing regular project status updates and helping to maintain quality and schedule performance. When deviations occur, take timely corrective action to keep the project on track. Coordinate with the customer to communicate progress and resolve outstanding issues. Document outcomes and define next steps to support successful project execution.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Responsibility for handling assigned defect notifications for offshore HVDC transmission systems (HVDC Grid Access)
  • Ongoing customer communication for the technical clarification of defect notifications and claims, including coordination with consortium partners and suppliers as well as input for internal reports
  • Efficient coordination of external sub contractors/service providers as well as internal departments, including the preparation, placement, and monitoring of supplier orders
  • Close collaboration with the Warranty Project Manager and coordination of relevant work progress to ensure achievement of project objectives
  • Ensuring quality and adherence to schedule while taking budget requirements and risk management into account
  • Documentation of all relevant processes within warranty handling and ensuring compliance with legal requirements in the areas of health, safety, and environmental protection

What You Bring

  • Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering or industrial engineering, or a completed technical vocational qualification with advanced training as a state-certified technician and corresponding professional experience
  • Several years of professional experience in a relevant field, preferably offshore, as well as practical experience in project management, including monitoring project status with regard to target achievement, quality, risks, and changes
  • Technical expertise in domain-specific products and systems as well as a good understanding of market requirements and customer needs
  • Experience in handling project and consortium contracts
  • Very good knowledge of quality management, especially in the areas of quality assurance and quality control
  • Confident use of MS Office 365 and SAP; knowledge of ticket management tools such as Salesforce and/or Omnitracker is desirable
  • Very good written and spoken English skills as well as good German skills
