A Snapshot of Your Day

Develop and implement tooling and material management strategies across Thailand and Asia-Pacific regions, coordinating tool deployment schedules and logistics while considering time zones and local priorities. Monitor tooling capacity and workload distribution, identifying opportunities to optimize resource utilization and prevent operational bottlenecks.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Provide and manage standard and special tooling, devices, EHS equipment, consumables, and PPE across Asia-Pacific service activities, ensuring project and customer KPIs are met while maintaining quality and EHS standards.
  • Lead, develop, and manage the Tool Depot team in Thailand, overseeing the provision, maintenance, certification, and testing of tooling and devices in accordance with Siemens Energy global guidelines and established procedures.
  • Establish and continuously improve processes and procedures for tooling maintenance, refill, certification, and testing, including preparation of checklists and documentation for customer submission.
  • Implement and operate the global tooling management system TCTP for Thailand, while coordinating subcontractor services for tool and device maintenance, including vendor inquiries, orders, and delivery tracking.
  • Drive operational and strategic development of Tool Depot capabilities through planning, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean measures and modernization of the tooling landscape based on field input and benchmarking.
  • Support regional outage planning and strategic development of tooling capabilities across Asia-Pacific, managing cost center performance and balancing multiple operational demands while coaching a team of 4–6 personnel.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Tooling & Material Management and Maintenance Management, with knowledge of tools and spare parts strategy in field service environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets, identify patterns, and translate insights into actionable decisions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, CAD/3D software, and maintenance management systems with demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple platforms.
  • Strong English communication skills in both spoken and written formats, capable of collaborating across international teams and documenting processes clearly.
  • Additional advantages include experience in cross-regional operations, continuous improvement methodologies, and familiarity with global tooling management systems.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
