Join our team where deep technical expertise in HV/MV substation protection and control directly shapes high‑quality engineering solutions. Each day involves reviewing customer specifications and translating them into robust technical concepts using IEC 61850‑based substation applications. Hands‑on engineering work spans protection design, control system architecture, and detailed documentation for field‑level systems. Close collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal teams ensures solutions that balance performance, quality, and cost across international projects.

Located in Split, Zagreb or Osijek (Croatia), you will be a part of the team of Pro Integris d.o.o. who is the 100% Siemens Energy subsidiary/legal entity.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Review and analyze customer technical specifications to define optimal substation protection and control solutions.
  • Prepare detailed engineering deliverables, including IED and license specifications, protection single‑line diagrams, interlocking diagrams, panel layouts, signal lists, and interface definitions.
  • Apply cyber security measures within substation automation and protection projects.
  • Coordinate with sub‑suppliers during offer preparation to align technical scope and solution quality.
  • Support customer engagement through technical meetings, site surveys, and on‑site discussions when required.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 5+ years of experience in configuration, testing, and commissioning of substation protection and control systems.
  • Practical experience delivering both international and domestic substation projects.
  • Proven hands‑on competency with protection configuration tools (ABB CAP 505, PCM600, DIGSI 4/5, Easergy Studio, SEL QuickSet/Architect, Eberle, MR) and testing tools (Omicron CMC/CPC, CT Analyzer, Megger IR).
  • Strong English communication skills, enabling clear technical discussions and documentation.
  • Solid teamwork, organization, and time‑management skills suited for a fast‑paced project environment.
  • Availability to travel for site surveys and customer meetings if necessary.
