A Snapshot of Your Day

The Financial Project Analyst you’ll monitor and optimize the financial performance of assigned projects, providing insights that influence profitability and strategic decisions. From forecasting and variance analysis to contract interpretation and risk mitigation, you’ll be a key partner in driving commercial success. In addition, you’ll ensure Siemens Gamesa meets all federal, state, and local wage requirements for public and government-funded projects. This includes collecting and validating documentation, maintaining accurate labor records, and preparing audit-ready materials to guarantee compliance and protect the company from regulatory risks.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Monitor and report on the financial health of assigned projects, including cost, revenue, and cash flow analysis.
  • Prepare monthly forecasts, variance analysis, and cost-to-complete reviews to optimize project performance.
  • Interpret contract terms and ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements. Identify risks and opportunities, propose corrective actions, and support negotiations when needed.
  • Provide commercial insights to project managers and stakeholders to enhance profitability and efficiency. Oversee the collection, validation, and submission of Prevailing Wage documentation for public and government-funded projects.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage laws, maintaining audit-ready records of labor classifications, wage rates, and fringe benefits.
  • Collaborate with payroll teams, contractors, and project managers to ensure accurate wage reporting. Prepare documentation for internal and external audits and respond to inquiries promptly.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, accounting, or related fields.
  • Minimum 4+ years in Controlling or Finance functions.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, tax, controlling, forecasting, planning, reporting, financial instruments, and KPIs. Highly proficient in SAP and experienced with advanced digital analytics tools like Alteryx, Power BI & Power Query. Advanced skills with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal communication).
  • Ability to interpret contracts and regulatory guidelines.  Experience in finance, commercial operations, or claims management is a plus. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
