A Snapshot of Your Day

  • As part of the Product Management team and as PLM for our “secondary” portfolio, you are responsible for elements for control and monitoring of air-insulated switchgear/gas-insulated switchgear (AIS/GIS) 66kV to 550 kV during the complete product life cycle. That includes mainly parts like sensors, indicators, and actuators with power supplies until 250VDC which belong to the substations.
  • You will start your day by answering questions to your portfolio elements from the global customer network. Then you will define with the team the future portfolio strategy, the Research and Development (R&D) workpackages and monitor the implementation status. Therefore, you will have several virtual meetings with engineering, order / offer management, sales, other portfolio manager, research & development and purchasing departments.
  • You will be part of a distributed team, which every day works together to provide our Siemens Energy customers innovative and economic control & monitoring solutions for AIS/GIS Switchgears.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Monitoring the development of product and coordinate product phase-in and phase-out/succession planning.

What You Bring

  • Expertise based on at least 8 years of experience with grid protection, control, and monitoring solutions for grid applications, especially for AIS/GIS switchgear for voltage level of more than 66 kV, is an advantage
  • Master above, major in Electrical engineering or Electronic
  • Business fluent in English. German language would be a plus.
  • Ability to prepare and perform presentations to external customers and internal management.
  • High level of self-management.
  • Ability to lead and cooperate in global teams.
  • Entrepreneurial and critical thinking - decision-making capability.
