A Snapshot of Your Day

You support the electrical engineering team with your strong background in high power rectifier systems and renewable power plant connections. In the morning you support a project development regarding the capabilities and limits of the converter systems used and explain the interdependencies in the operation which need to be considered. Later you prepare for a review of the power electronics design tool which you have developed in Matlab and host the workshop with various experts in the field in the afternoon. Before you finish your day, you receive a call from a supplier regarding details in the specification for primary electric equipment ordered for a large scale electrolysis plant.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Participate in converter-related feasibility and R&D activities
  • Develop and execute competitive power supply solutions for various grid connections, including direct coupling to renewable power plants
  • Create design tools in Matlab and establish standards of operation
  • Support project execution activities for industrial-scale electrolysis plants
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure the successful implementation of projects
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes and solutions
What You Bring
  • Master’s degree or PhD in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on power electronics
  • Experience in the application, specification, development, or testing of high current rectifier systems
  • Background in electrolysis applications or connections to renewable power plants is a plus
  • Highly self-organized and reliable
  • Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus
  • Resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
