A Snapshot of Your Day 

As the Service Operations Manager for the German offshore Service Project Windanker in the Baltic Sea, you will lead a long-term service contract, ensuring strong customer relationships and outstanding service. You will collaborate with internal Siemens Gamesa stakeholders to address challenges and optimize project execution. Your extensive experience will guide your decision-making and problem-solving in navigating the complexities of this offshore initiative. You will monitor project progress, handle resources, and ensure compliance with safety standards while maintaining regular communication with the customer to provide updates and address concerns. Your focus will be on driving operational excellence and ensuring the success of the Windanker project. 

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Drive HSE through visible leadership and programs, establishing a strong safety culture to achieve incident-free project execution aligned with our zero-harm ambition
• Plan and handle service operations to improve turbine availability and optimize costs while meeting project schedules and operational targets
• Build and maintain customer relationships through effective communication, ensuring contract compliance and systematic claims management
• Supervise project financial performance, handling gross profit, revenue, cash flow, and assets while identifying risks, opportunities, and aftermarket sales
• Regularly report on operational and financial performance, keeping leadership informed of critical issues and facilitating decision-making
• Develop innovation, continuous improvement, and standardization while leading, mentoring, and developing the operational team in line with shared values
