Join us as a Senior Legal Counsel in the Wind Power Offshore team, where your expertise will be pivotal in shaping the future of renewable energy. You will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding colleagues through complex legal landscapes and resolving substantial claims during the execution phase of our offshore wind projects worldwide. Your independent legal assessments of international plant engineering and construction contracts will empower you to provide strategic guidance and support operational inquiries. Collaborating with internal partners, subcontractors, and customers, you will anticipate legal risks and craft innovative solutions that align with our commercial and technical objectives.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Conduct independent legal assessments of international plant engineering and construction contracts, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with operational teams to address general legal inquiries and provide strategic guidance throughout project execution.
- Anticipate legal challenges and develop creative, sustainable solutions that support business objectives in the wind power sector.
- Share your knowledge by leading internal training sessions on key legal topics, recent developments, and court decisions.
- Coordinate with global Legal & Compliance colleagues and external legal counsels to streamline processes and drive innovation in business practices.
What You Bring
- A law degree with excellent academic credentials and substantial experience in dispute resolution mechanisms, including expert determination, mediation, and arbitration.
- Several years of experience in an international law firm or a globally operating company, ideally within engineering and construction
- A proactive, independent, and results-oriented approach to work
- Outstanding intercultural competency, enhanced by academic studies or work experience abroad
- Full professional proficiency in English; additional language skills such as German, Danish, Spanish, or French are a plus.
- Openness to occasional international travel for company business.
