As a Senior Field Service Engineer specializing in Gimpel Valves, you will be at the forefront of Siemens Energy’s mission to deliver sustainable and reliable energy solutions. How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead the mechanical installation, overhaul, and commissioning of Gimpel valves and related equipment, ensuring adherence to OEM quality standards.
• Supervise and guide a team through complete overhaul, installation, and commissioning processes, aligning with service requirements.
• Verify and interpret OEM installation instructions, readings, P&ID, and dimensional drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct root cause analysis and complex troubleshooting on machinery and ancillary systems, effectively communicating findings to engineering teams.
• Maintain clear communication with clients regarding progress, schedules, and spare parts recommendations, while preparing detailed technical reports.
• Uphold Siemens Energy’s commitment to quality and innovation by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices.

What You Bring

• A high school/GED diploma or an engineering degree, complemented by a minimum of 10+ years of directly related experience, particularly in supervising the overhaul of Gimpel and related equipment.
• Proficiency in standard office software and portal-based systems for reporting time, expenses, and service activities.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage in challenging discussions with customers to safeguard company interests.
• A basic understanding of commercial aspects, enabling you to identify contract requirements and recognize tasks that may require additional customer funding.
• Fluency in English, either as a primary or secondary language, to facilitate effective communication across diverse teams and clients.
• A commitment to diversity and inclusion, contributing to a team culture that values different perspectives and fosters creative energy.
