A Snapshot of Your Day
You'll be a key player in the Global Compensation team, reporting directly to the Head of Global Compensation Governance. This is a dynamic and challenging role that offers exposure to the full Compensation & Benefits portfolio across more than 90 countries. The position can be based in Poland, Romania, Czech Republic, Portugal, or Germany. You will collaborate with colleagues both in person and virtually, depending partially on your office location.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You initiate and deliver Compensation & Benefits-related projects on global level to meet legislative changes, improve the C&B portfolio, support mergers, acquisitions or integrations, and to implement technological changes.
- Lead and optimize global compensation processes (e.g. annual merit process, equity allocations, or the annual incentive) and support colleagues across a multinational team who ensure their implementation.
- Prepare decision documents for relevant bodies while coordinating relevant departments (e.g. legal, tax, accounting etc.) and working closely together with the Employment Conditions team in ensuring employee-co-determination rights are addressed and adhered to.
- You advise and implement job analysis and evaluation schemes to ensure standardization & alignment.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to HR/the business on Compensation & Benefits-related matters.
- Monitor market trends and provide benchmarks to ensure competitiveness. Manage ongoing relationships with external consultants and suppliers to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standard of services e.g. compensation and benefits survey companies.
What You Bring
- Education: A master’s degree in business administration or a related field (e.g., HR, finance, corporate development).
- Experience: At least 8 years of professional experience in Compensation & Benefits within a large multinational company or management consultancy.
- Skills:
- Demonstrated expertise in C&B practices and a proven background in the field.
- Proven experience leading complex global C&B processes.
- Strong ability to synthesize data into clear recommendations for senior management.
- A proactive mindset and the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of HR applications like SAP and Workday.
- Experience with data analytics tools is a strong plus.
- Language: Fluent in English; German proficiency is a plus, but not required.
