A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Senior Accounting Professional, you will support the Europe 2 & Africa region. The position is critical for maintaining the continuity and accuracy of accounting operations for our Turkish entities. To ensure seamless financial operations, this role will concentrate on three core areas: comprehensive financial closing and reporting, diligent general ledger and account management, and adherence to compliance and operational support standards. This structure ensures all aspects of the accounting cycle are covered, from transaction recording to final reporting. 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • To ensure integrity and high quality of books and records to meet best-practice financial reporting that caters both internal and external requirements.
  • Adherence to Compliance in all accounting practices and processes International and Domestic
  • Review, own and gain comfort on the financial statements before reporting or signing the In-control statement.
  • Complete the monthly / quarterly / yearly closing and reporting, for all stakeholders as per the scheduled timelines.
  • Manage the statutory audit, outsourcing partners (Local GAAP, transactional accounting etc.) and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Being a business partner, collaborate with business units and other corporate functions, wherever necessary to achieve a common objective within accounting topics.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or economics.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience working in a similar position;
  • Knowledge on Local Accounting Standards and proven experience with auditors (external and/or internal);
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures; (IFRS & Local Gaap) - IFRS16.
  • Hyperinflation accounting and project accounting experitse.
  • Experience with creating financial statements.
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills; specially SAP
  • Language skills – English – advanced (spoken and written);
